The academic objective was to encourage research of different countries’ perspectives.
Today saw the culmination of the SefaMUN debate, a project in which 6th grade and all of Middle School and High School were involved.
The project was launched several months ago as a student initiative and, with the support of all Upper School teachers, they decided to replicate a student Model United Nations (MUN).
The academic objective was to encourage research of different countries’ perspectives in relation to global issues. The final exercise consisted in a formal debate that imitates the structure and procedures of the United Nations.
The event was carried out professionally and in a very structured fashion, in which student and teacher commitment was evident.
